How to play

    Watch. Squares light up one after another. That’s the path.

  2. 2

    Read the twist. Copy it, mirror it left to right, flip it upside down, turn it a quarter, or draw it backwards.

  3. 3

    Draw it. Drag across the squares, or tap them in order. The path grows one step every round. Three mistakes and the run ends.

Questions

What happens when I make a mistake?

You lose a heart, see where the path really went, and get the same round again. Lose all three hearts and the run is over.

Is the daily run the same for everyone?

Yes. Everyone gets the same paths and twists each day. You get one go at it, so share how far you got. Practice runs are unlimited.

Any tips?

Say the path to yourself as moves (“right, right, down, left”) and then change the words: a mirror swaps left and right, a flip swaps up and down, and a quarter turn changes right to down, down to left, left to up and up to right.

How to play Echo

A path lights up on the grid, one square at a time. Then draw it back by dragging across the squares or tapping them in order.

The card above the grid says how to change it: copy it, mirror it left to right, flip it upside down, turn it a quarter clockwise, or draw it backwards from the end.

Every round the path is one step longer. A wrong square costs a heart and shows you the answer. Three hearts and the run is over.
