How to play Matra Magic
- Look at the picture and tap the speaker to hear the word, like मोर (peacock).
- The word on screen has an empty box where a matra should be: म ▢ र.
- Tap the matra that makes the word. ो turns म_र into मोर. A wrong one wobbles, and you can try again.
- Some questions hide the picture and only play the word. Pick how it is written.
Seven stages, the way school teaches matras
Children meet one or two new matras at a time, and every question only offers matras they have already met. Each stage has its own levels, from the first आ की मात्रा words for 5 year olds to words with two missing matras for 8 and 9 year olds. Today’s 6 is a fresh set every day for each age group.

Which age is this for?
Ages 5 to 9, or Classes UKG to 3. Five and six year olds start with आ की मात्रा. Older children can jump straight to any stage from Levels.
Why does a wrong matra not say the word?
Every word is read aloud from a real recording, so children only ever hear real words said properly. A wrong pick shows what it would spell and lets them listen to the real word again.
Is ं or ँ right in words like गाँव?
Both are seen in print. We follow the school rule: chandrabindu (ँ) where nothing sits on top of the letter, as in गाँव, and bindu (ं) where a matra already sits above, as in गेंद. A question never asks a child to choose between the two.
