How to play

  1. 1

Watch the weight swing. It slides from one end of the plank to the other, faster with every weight.

  2. 2

Tap to drop it. A weight pulls its side down by its kilos times its distance from the middle. A 4 kg weight 2 m out pulls as hard as a 2 kg weight 4 m out.

  3. 3

Don't tip it. The meter at the top shows the pull. Every weight makes the plank shakier, so the red ends grow. Pull into the red and it tips.

Questions

How is the daily game scored?

Everyone gets the same 8 weights each day, one try. Drop all 8 without tipping, and your score is how far the plank leans at the end, in degrees. Lower is better, and 0.0° is perfectly level. Tip it and the day's score is how many weights you got on.

Why does the plank get shakier?

So the game always ends. The first weight can pull a lot before the plank tips; every weight after that, it holds a little less. You can see it on the meter: the red ends grow after each drop.

How does the live room work?

One person creates a room and the others join with the code or the QR, each on their own phone. Players take turns dropping their weight on the same plank, and every phone shows it swing, land and sway. Whoever tips it loses a life and a new plank starts. The last one standing wins.

Any tips?

Drop heavy weights close to the middle and light ones far out. If the plank leans right, drop on the left, and the further out you drop, the more it pulls back. Tap a little early: the weight keeps moving while your finger comes down.

How to play Seesaw

A weight of 1 to 5 kg swings back and forth above the plank. Tap the plank or the Drop button to let it go.

Each weight pulls its side down by its kilos times its distance from the middle. The meter at the top shows which way the plank is pulled and how hard. If the needle goes into the red, the plank tips. Every weight makes the red ends a little bigger, and the swing a little faster.

Today’s 8: drop all eight without tipping, and score how level the plank ends. You vs computer: take turns; whoever tips it loses.
