How to play Beam

Follow the light. The beam leaves the lamp in a straight line and turns 90° at every mirror it meets.

Tap a mirror to flip it. Each mirror leans one way or the other. Flipping it sends the beam the other way.

Light every gem at once. Some mirrors are decoys and rocks stop the beam. Solve it in the fewest taps (par) for a green bar.
Tip: work backwards from a gem in a corner. Ask which way the beam has to arrive there, and which mirror could send it that way.
Questions
When do new puzzles come out?
Three new puzzles (easy, medium and hard) every day at midnight your time. Everyone gets the same three, so you can compare with friends.
Is there always a solution?
Yes. Every board is made from a real beam path that passes every gem. We also try every mirror setting to find par, the fewest taps that solve it.
What are the grey stones?
Rocks. The beam stops when it hits one, so keep the light away from them.
Is it the same for everyone?
Yes. Everyone gets the same three boards each day, so you can compare taps.
How do levels work?
There are 300 levels, from a 5×5 board with two gems to a 7×7 board with five gems, rocks and plenty of decoy mirrors.
