How to play
- 1
Watch the swing. The ball hangs on a rope and swings back and forth, fastest at the bottom.
- 2
Tap to cut the rope. The ball flies off the way it was moving, at the speed it had, and falls.
- 3
Land it in the cup. Five shots a day, one try each, and every shot has a new rope and a new cup. No rim is a swish.
Questions
When is the right moment to cut?
Cut near the bottom of the swing and the ball shoots out fast and flat. Cut near the top and it barely moves and drops. The cup is always off to one side, so somewhere in between is right. Watch a full swing first: it never stops swinging, so there is no rush.
Is it the same for everyone?
Yes. Everyone gets the same five shots each day, from gentle to tricky: the rope gets longer or shorter, the cup moves and narrows, and later cups stand on a crate. Share your score and see who has the better timing.
What counts as a swish?
A ball that drops in without touching the rim. A ball that hits the rim and still drops in counts as a cup, just not a swish.
Can I practise?
Yes. Practice gives you a new swing whenever you like, and you can try the same one again while your earlier tries stay on screen as trails.
