Read the category. It tells you what kind of word is hiding: an animal, a Bollywood film, a country…

Swap the tiles. Tap a letter, then tap another letter in the same word to swap them. You can drag one onto another too.

Solve it. When every letter is in place the tiles turn green. Stuck? A Clue gives a meaning, a Letter locks one tile in its right place.

Questions
Is Today’s 5 the same for everyone?
Yes. Everyone gets the same five words each day, from easy to hard, so you can compare times. Players in India get a few India-only words (desi food, Bollywood, cricket); everyone else gets words from around the world. The India | Global switch changes it.
How is the daily scored?
By how many words you solve and your time. A green bar is a word solved on your own, an amber bar means you used a clue or a letter, and a grey bar is a word you gave up on.
I made a different real word. Does it count?
If the letters spell another everyday English word (like SILENT for LISTEN), Endless counts it. Today’s 5 only uses words with one answer.
How many words are there?
More than 6,000, in 27 categories, each marked easy, medium or hard. Endless remembers which ones you have seen, so you won’t get repeats for a long time.
