Five shapes a day, each one odder than the last. Your score is how far off you were in total, so lower is better.
Questions
Does the line have to start outside the shape?
No. The cut is the whole straight line through where you started and where you let go, so it runs right across the shape either way. Only the angle and the position count.
What is the dashed green line?
After you cut, it shows the perfect cut at the same angle as yours. If it sits to one side of your line, that is where the extra area was.
Is it the same for everyone?
Yes. Everyone gets the same five shapes each day, and one cut per shape. Share your total and see who has the steadier eye. Practice shapes are unlimited.
Any tips?
Cuts through the middle of a shape are easier to judge than cuts near a corner. On a star or a moon, pick an angle where the two sides look like mirror images, then nudge toward the side that looks heavier.
