How 6-letter mode works

• 7 guesses per word. Type any real 6-letter word and press Enter.
• Green means right letter, right spot. Yellow means the letter is in the word somewhere else. Grey means it isn't in the word.
• Endless rounds. Solve it and the next word starts. Fail one and you lose a life. Three lives per run.
• Points. Every solve scores 600 points, plus 50 for each guess you didn't need and a bonus for long streaks.

Why 6 letters is a different game

Long words give you more letters to work with, so the first two guesses usually find most of the vowels. The hard part is the order. Plurals and past tenses (words ending in -ES or -ED) are never answers; the list uses base words such as GARDEN, SILVER and PLANET.
