How to play wordl.buzz
wordl.buzz has two ways to play. The daily word is one 5-letter puzzle a day, the same for everyone. Unlimited play lets you guess word after word until you run out of lives.
The daily word
- Everyone gets the same 5-letter word each day. A new one starts at midnight, your local time.
- You have 6 guesses, no hints. Solve it to grow your daily streak.
- When you finish, tap Share my grid to post your coloured squares without spoiling the word.
Unlimited play: the basics
- Pick a mode. Sprint uses 4-letter words, Rush uses 5-letter words and Marathon uses 6-letter words.
- Type a guess and press Enter. It has to be a real word of the right length.
- Read the colours. Green means the letter is in the right spot. Yellow means the letter is in the word but in a different spot. Grey means it isn't in the word.
- Solve it before you run out of guesses, and a new word starts.
Lives, score and hints
- You start each run with 3 lives. Fail a word and you lose one.
- Every solved word adds points. You get more for solving in fewer guesses, for longer words and for long streaks.
- You get 3 free hints per run. Each one reveals a letter in its correct place. After that, a hint costs 150 points.
- Stuck on a word? Use the menu to change the word (no life lost, but your streak resets) or give up (you lose a life).
Tips for longer runs
- Open with common letters. Words like CRANE, SLATE or AROSE test the most frequent letters in one go.
- Don't reuse grey letters. Every guess should try at least one new letter until you're close.
- Mind double letters. If you're stuck with one spot left, think about words like SPOON, LEVEL or GEESE.
- Save hints for long words. Marathon words are worth more, so a hint there protects more points.

Questions
Is wordl.buzz the same as Wordle?
Not quite. It uses the same green and yellow clues and has a daily word too, but you can also play an endless run: solve a word and the next one starts straight away. You pick 4, 5 or 6 letter words, and you have lives, a score and hints.
How many guesses do I get?
Sprint (4 letters) gives you 5 guesses, Rush (5 letters) gives you 6, and Marathon (6 letters) gives you 7.
What happens when I fail a word?
You lose one of your 3 lives and the word is revealed. When all three are gone, the run ends and your score is saved to your stats.
How do hints work?
Each run comes with 3 free hints. A hint reveals one letter in its correct spot. After the free ones, each hint costs 150 points.
Can I play more than once a day?
Yes. The daily word is once a day, and unlimited play has no limit at all.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After your first visit, the game works offline, and you can install it to your home screen like an app.
