How to play Last Over
- The scoreboard shows the chase, for example 22 off 9 balls with 2 wickets left.
- Before each ball you see where it pitched: yorker, full, good length, short or wide outside off.
- Choose a shot. Each one shows its runs and its risk against that ball, from Safe to Very risky.
- Win by reaching the target before you run out of balls or wickets.
Everyone gets the same chase each day, and the same shot on the same ball always ends the same way, so compare your over with friends.
Which shot to play
| Ball | Best attacking shot | Avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Yorker | Take the single | Pull, loft |
| Full | Drive for four | Pull |
| Good length | Loft for six | Drive |
| Short | Pull for six | Drive, loft |
| Wide outside off | Drive for four | Pull, loft |
Chasing like a finisher
- Watch the required rate. Need under a run a ball? Singles and safe fours win it. No need to swing.
- Wickets are your budget. With two in hand you can take one big risk. With one, pick your moment.
- A dot ball isn't a disaster. Blocking a yorker is often smarter than losing your last wicket.

Is the result random?

When does a new chase come out?
