How to play MLT
- Read today's physical quantity, for example Pressure.
- Use + and − to set the power of each base quantity: M (mass), L (length), T (time), A (current) and K (temperature).
- Press Check. Right powers turn green. Wrong ones show ↑ (should be higher) or ↓ (should be lower).
- After each miss you unlock a clue: the chapter, then the defining relation, then the SI unit.
Pressure is force ÷ area, so its answer is [M L⁻¹ T⁻²]: M power 1, L power −1, T power −2, and 0 for A and K.

Why dimensional formulas matter
- Check equations. Both sides of a correct equation must have the same dimensions. This rules out wrong options in seconds.
- Convert units. Knowing [M L T⁻²] for force lets you convert newtons to dynes without memorising a factor.
- Derive relations. The time period of a pendulum depending on length and g comes out of dimensions alone.
Questions
Why A and K and not I and θ?
NCERT writes current as [A] and temperature as [K], so the game does too. Some books use [I] and [θ]; they mean the same thing.
What about dimensionless quantities?
Strain, angle and refractive index have no dimensions. For those, the answer is every power at 0.
When does a new quantity come out?
Every day at midnight in your time zone. Practice mode gives you unlimited random quantities.
